Connecting plants and people.

With a twist.

Haenke is an interdisciplinary research studio based between Paris and Prague. Our mission is to raise awareness about the role of plant biodiversity for medicine and (more-than) human health.

We create public space installations, debate forums, practical workshops, educational content or community outreach activities by combining traditional plant knowledge with evidence-based research and innovations.

Using the transformative power of arts, culture, design, and other fields of creative expression as a vehicle for social change, we create impactful projects that result in better understanding of the natural world.

Championing the role of plant biodiversity in our lives.

We hold talks, debates, organise public space installations and concerts in order to champion the various benefits of nature and plants in our lives.

Our projects

From large-scale installations on the role of greenery in public space, gallery pop-ups about house plants and millennials, working with refugee communities or in senior care homes, to curating educational content online, this is what we’ve been working on lately.

Come join us…

as we uncover hidden stories about plants and their importance in our lives, helping the public to better understand their role in all sorts of fields from design to medicine.
